This little group of prints (and the following two lots) speaks of Chris Mendez's love of food and the pleasure he took in hosting his family, friends and colleagues to delicious, home-cooked meals, while the erotic allusions of the market scene by Saenredam betrays his bawdy, yet dry sense of humour.
