One of several cigar boxes of varying sizes made for John F. Kennedy and given by Philippine President Carlos Polestico Garcia. Presented to Kennedy early in his administration, the cigar boxes were inspired by news articles in the Philippines remarking on Kennedy's love of cigars. The boxes were originally filled with cigars with a personalized imprint on the plastic wrappers that read: "Specially Made for President Kennedy."
