The inscription on the front of the integral base reads, "May Isis give life." Small inscribed metal images of deities with ring attachments on the reverse appear to have been hung as pendants in temples (see M. Hill, “A Gilded Silver Pendant of Nephthys Naming Mereskhonsu,” Révue d’Égyptologie, vol. 66, 2015, pp. 33-45).
