The present watch features an unusual honey comb dial with applied baton and Rolex coronet logos as hour markers, a rare detail for this reference. A more standard example with arrowhead shaped markers is illustrated in Dowling & Hess,The Best of Time: Rolex Wristwatches, p. 198
