AFTER THE MODEL BY CHARLES CRESSENT, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The rectangular black leather-inset top within a gadrooned surround and shell-cast clasps to the corners, above a frieze with three drawers to the front and three simulated drawers to the reverse, each with a foliate-cast handle, the sides centred by a Bacchic mask, on cabriole legs headed by espagnolettes and with acanthus-wrapped paw sabots
