UNSIGNED ATTRIBUTED TO KUNISUKE, Edo Period (17th century) Sugata [configuration]: honzukuri, iori-mune, even shinto curve, chu-gissaki Kitae [forging pattern]: tight itame hada but indistinctly visible due to condition of blade Hamon [tempering pattern]: Osaka style yakidashi, and chojiba with ashi and some yo, kobushi-gata choji in places Boshi [tip]: ko-maru and kaen Nakago [tang]: sujigai file marks, single mekugi-ana, shallow kurijiri Habaki [collar]: single copper lightly gilt Nagasa [length of blade]: 66.5cm. Koshirae [mounting]: in shirasaya with sayagaki indicating o-suriage by Kunisuke of Settsu
