An Afternoon Tea (from the Utopia series)

Utopia is a body of work based on a collection of images of contemporary Iranian women combined with European Rococo grounds. The artist intends to challenge the viewer by suggesting the paradoxical reality behind the surface of the society as she reveals how chosing Western culture as a role model does not fit in needlepoint nor in reality.
