The Holy Family

We are grateful to Francesca Baldassari for confirming the attribution to Jacopo Vignali, on the basis of photographs (private communication, 18 February 2008). Mrs. Baldassari dates the painting to the late 1620s, based on a comparison with the Circumcision of 1627, in the Church of the Misericordia, San Casciano.
