拍品专文

This simple, elegant corner-leg table exemplifies the restrained yet sophisticated aesthetic of Ming furniture. The present table displays a rare construction form featuring a single panel top showcasing the natural beauty of the vigorous grain. The lack of framing members effortlessly pairs with the simple, refined silhouette of the table. Numerous variations on the form exist, including waisted and waistless examples, those with and without stretchers, and both square and side tables.
