Signed Autavia, Heuer, Ref. 3646, case no. 96’599, Circa 1965

This third execution Autavia has garnered the nickname the “Mario Andretti Autavia” as the legendary driver wore a similar reference 3646 while racing in the 1960s. These early Autavias have beveled lugs and cases that are particularly sensitive to polishing. 

The present example is remarkable for being preserved without polishing, the angle of the beveled lugs are sharp and clearly defined, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the watch.
