19 volumes, 4o. Numerous photographic illustrations (some browning, dampstaining and staining). Volume 1 in contemporary cloth and boards; other volumes in modern cloth (some dampstaining, staining and rubbing).
During the Second World War, publishing for Artibus Asia was moved to Switzerland, and the journal appeared only sporadically. Volume 8 was the first to be printed in Switzerland by Kommissionsverlag Braus-Riggenbach. After that volume, subsequent volumes were published by Artibus Asiae. (19)
