Of rectangular outline, the styptor minaudière centering upon two lozenge-shaped plaques of square-cut rubies, each within a rose gold surround, to the rose gold trim and clasp, opening to reval a fitted mirror, a transparent covered compartment, a covered lipstick compartment, an open compartment, and a ruby, rose gold and styptor compact and lighter of similar design, circa 1945, 6 x 4 5/8 x ¾ ins., with maker's marks, in a Van Cleef & Arpels black suede fitted pouch
