A PAIR OF CLAM PEARL, RUBY AND DIAMOND EAR PENDANTS
Each suspending a dark brown drop-shaped clam pearl measuring 8.54 - 8.90 x 16.50 and 8.66 - 8.70 x 16.12 mm, surmounted by a pavé-set light yellow diamond cap and a line of ruby rondelle and brilliant-cut diamonds, to the butterfly clutch suspending a drop-shaped pavé-set diamond terminal, mounted in 18k oxidised gold, 5.5 cm long
Accompanied by report no. 49458 dated 2 October 2007 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the observed properties confirm the authenticity of these non-nacreous saltwater natural pearls, these pearls may also be called clam pearls in the trade
